Me and my sister & niece all go in the front yard and play "survivor"...we take turns cracking it w/ a hammer after we've drained out the milk....then we yell.."hell ya" when we really crack it....and we eat the pieces off the bark...we act like we are on an island.....it's fun...and no we are not crazy...all in good fun by bored adults and a teenager..u should try it! Also if someone tries to wash the dirt off the coconut meat , someone else yells.. "there aint no fu**ing sinks on this island!".

I have enjoyed fresh coconuts since I was little, over 50 years now. I like to poke the eyes out and drain the milk, you can use the milk in bread if you want, then I break it in pieces and savor every bite I eat. Nothing beats fresh coconut. We used to call them monkeys, because the fuzz on it and the 3 holes, the eyes and mouth reminded us of a monkey.

Cocunuts are of gr8 use. In india they remve the milk out of the coconut and add a dash f the fruit named 'kokam' youcan get it in any Indian Store . and soak the kokam in a bit of water and squeeze it in the milk .and garnish with coriander . Its superb. or you can also make a fish curry out of it .. Cocunut Water also tastes realy good and is goo dfor health . If you want to avoid all that just remove the flesh and use it as a plant pot

I like to bust them open and pour out the coconut juice and break the coconut apart and eat it slowly...

I shred the coconut meat and spread it over my father's grave every June to fulfill a promise I made to him during our last fight, just before he died. He hated coconut.

try to open them up lol..like in the castaway movie but tropical coconuts taste fresher and their juices in my opinion

drink the coconut water, then make a jamacian desert with it. It's shaved cocnut, sugar, cinnamon, raisians, and vanillia. its so simple and delicious.
