There are a few things that could happen. Your court date may very well be canceled, but unless you here from the court that this is the case, do not assume that this is going to happen. If you have a court date, you must show up.

Otherwise, if you were not on drugs and the drug test confirms that, the police really have no case and any reasonable judge will likely dismiss the charges. I would go to your court appearance well-dressed and be very respectful to the officers and the judge. You want to show your best side to the judge.

They have one on over you. Driving is a privilege and not a right. This privilege is governed by the police, whose power is well-nigh summary in immediate situations, to be finally adjudicated by the judge -- who is unlikely to second guess the cops.

You have a court date. Once charges are dismissed, write a coherent, well-spelled letter to the judge demanding that the cops in questions be officially reprimanded with at least a letter in their personnel file.

You have a responsibility to go to court. Failure to appear is a crime and can result in an arrest. Not worth it!
If you are innocent, it is a minor inconvenience to just show up and clear your name.

Honey...........go to court n let the police find out what a big axxhole they had been!

from your dilated eys & rapid heart beat.........if I were the policemean who stopped you........ I would've thought u were in love (may be on 'heat'!).......& got turned on by my smart uniform & good looks.......

for he could easily determine that you are not on drugs or under the influence........if you were indeed not!

Anyway........take care.....n have confidence.........may be the judge got his say.........n give the police a good tongue lashing!

Unfortunately for you, you have a court date. if you fail to make the court date, no matter how rediculous the charge, you will have a bench warrant. If you have a bench warrant they will arrest you for contempt I believe it is.
