Yes especially if he travels for his job that wouldn't be very hard to do at all Truckers go somewhere around 200,000 miles a year so no that's not very far fetched at all

Yes it is possible, Last year i drove 132,467 miles. Granted it was in a semi, but I know people who commute 100+miles to work in the morning and 100+ miles in the evening. They have to buy a new car every year because of the mileage and wear and tear. 40,000 I think is actually low for a year. 80,000 is very common actually in Southern California, as housing prices have pushed everyone into the burbs and beyond and made everyone into rush hour commuters.

Yes. My daily commute is 110 miles a day round trip, and that is if I don't have to detour for shopping. I live in a rural area and work in the city, thus the commute. The trick is that the vehicle has been serviced on a regular basis with records to show, especially oil changes. You may want to check out carfax to see if that vehicle was reported to be in any accidents.

Based on 40,000 miles divided by 365 days this mean this person must have driven about 109.?? miles a day. So o yes it is possible.

Yes it is possible, but you would need to assume that this mostly occurred on his job, as most people wouldn't have enough spare time to build up that many miles. Ask him what his job is and see if he gives a logical response eg in sales. If not he is lying (and he could well be anyway).

Yes.

My mom drives 25,000 miles a year and she don't work, just shops all day.

I'd imagine the owner is a travelling salesman or something.

Yes...I had put 120k on mine in a year...long commute.
Some cars do not have a hundred thousand reading on their odometers....it would be wise to invest acouple bucks on carfax.com
I had ended up buying a car that read 50k...but it actually had 150k after some research on it. Needless to say I was p!ssed.
