ok well i known this guy a year well (every saturday at the races) me and my dad drag race well he (james) showed up earlyer this year and started racing well i noticed him cause he had HUGE wheels, we talked very little mostly him asking about my car; well about 4 weeks ago as i was suiting up to race shannon (i dislike him very much) i over heard james tell shannon to let me win cause i had beatiful hair.. well i lost and we went home... the next week it came down to james and shannon and i told james to beat shannon and he said he would for me but he lost... and the next saturday he came up to me a good bit and one time appoligized for losing he said " i seen that red light come on and i couldn't belive it that i lost and her there watching me" well that night i found out he is 27 (im 17 till nov 23) and to get most resent to this past satuday

this saturday james came up to me he said he wanted me and him to come to the finales he was gonna let me win so i could get the free entry in to the races next year well he kept telling me to win and he would to and ask how i did when i got back and parked and i would ask him and he would say were good. well im my dads pit crew so i ride a scooter to the strating line well i fide about 30 mph on it and cant really see behind me well one time he was watching me i guess and i pulled out and nearly got hit well when i got back he laughed and threten to put me over his knee and said if i didn't want to i had better slow down cause he didn't want em hurt. well we both went out and so we got to talk a little more he gave me some candy ( i had gum so i coulfn't eat) and i told him i bet shannon would come by the shop this week and he was like what!?? he comes to yall's shop and i said yah he has a friend that works with us and he said well if i knew where it was i would come visit u i told h

yes i know there is almost 9 years age diff.. im confuced...my father says he is to old but i go for maturer guys and my mother agrees with me on that. this os more i wanted to know yall oppion to help me decide what to to

Your question makes absolutely no sense at all. You sound like your a 10 year old instead of 17. Your all over the place with this question and how can we give you any advice when your not making sense with it??? From the way you sound I don't think you stand any chance of having him, especially at your age. Your mind is still in teenage mode.

First off, we share the same B-day!!! Yeaaah baby! And second, are you saying that you turn 18 ?That is still a big gap in age.. And it's not so much the age, but see when you are a certain age you either have or a lack of experience. And you need to consider what can you bring to the table, because he's damn near thirty and you barely on the legal mark! My dating range has been 1-6 years ahead of me. And third, you made a big story out of a simple question: should you date a guy 10 years older than you. But you need to wonder if you can keep up with his tempo and do you think you guys would be somewhat compatible with your age range and all.

The age difference isn't that big of a deal once you are both over 18.
However, he is at a different stage of life than you are so I wouldn't rush into anything. Take it very slow and be very cautious of protecting yourself.
He could be genuinely interested or he could just be being nice.
