ALL of the seafood in regular super-markets has already been previously frozen and thawed for you convenience. Unless you go to a strictly Fresh Fish market to get your seafood, don't think about re-freezing them....
FRESH shrimp Can indeed be frozen , and depending on the method used, will be good until the day you decide to indulge in these dilectable little delicacies of the sea,.

I am not sure I understand your Q.
But the shrimp freezes like anything else. Just be sure it is protected from freezer burn.
Then you can take them and put them into the refridgerator until they are thawed, or put them in cool water, and let them thaw.
They keep fine, and taste just as good as they were fresh.
The longest I have kept shrimp in the freezer is 6 months unopened, and 2 months opened, but protected from freezer burn.

If you cook them before you freeze them they will last appx. 4 months.
