Bachelor of Science in Criminology is the exact degree to study Criminal Justice. If you want to learn more about prosecution of crimes, you enroll in a degree leading to Bachelor of Laws and can even become a Criminal Lawyer.

I earned my B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Purdue University in 1983. That's what it was called then, there. I worked for a little over 9 years as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Crown Pt, Indiana.

There are also B.S. degrees offered in Police Science, Forensics Studies, etc. If you think you want to work for the FBI, get your bachelors degree in something more specific, like computers or engineering or some Middle Eastern language.
