hook up with someone you have been talking to for a year??? I have this friend in Texas and we've been talking for almost a year, we have never met. I've always thought of him as "just a guy" but now that he's coming to my state soon, he has the idea that we'll hook up...and honestly I've thought about it, I'm kinda of attracted to him. What should i do?

Online hook ups are no longer looked down upon, i mean...he might be the one. But I think before you make any decisions you should meet him first. In a public place, like a cafe or something. Sit down and talk face to face. You might not be big on how someone looks, but the way someone acts in public is sometimes much different from the way they are when you two talk alone.

If I were you I would not rush things. You don't know the actual situation and real personality of the guy. Talking is different from actually going together.

I think you should not rush into a relationship. It takes time to know someone thoroughly..Let him move to your state and get to know him, his character, likings, background and so onwell u can giv a try but dun go too deep or u wil suffer! goodluck n i wish u all the best

to start with is meet for the first time at starbucks or any coffee house as they are the dating place now and a good way to be public and careful.

is it me, lol, jokin. sure i would, couldn't hurt to see what he is all about in the real world. Hell i wouldn't mind meeting some of these girls i chat with online, But in that sense it would be kind of expensive. I would say give him a shot but dont call him your boyfriend, just hang out with him and date n stuff. later day.

Make it clear that you will meet but there will be no hanky panky unless your willing,, damn that sucks when it is expected!! tell him you need a sniff test first!!!
