I have a new pair of pants and sweater that are chocolate brown but I need another color to go with it. I've thought of wearing something under the sweater and/or accessorizing with a colorful necklace. What color?

I love wearing brown with pale pink, coral or turqouise. Brown looks great with light tan or cream too but I like a little splash of color.

Pends on your own colouring, skin, hair. If like me ur avatar is closest to your real self then cream might be too sweet. Lime green would be good and so would a solid yellow, vibrant yellow, but be careful not to go to the red end of the spectrum. Orange would prolly not be good, nor would blue unless you tried baby blue. If the chocolate shade is not deep you could also blend subtly with lighter browns and fawns, tans. If the chocolate colour is light you could try dark brown or black.

Fall colors. Any that you like, after you are dressing for you, it could be anything from greens, mixed with oranges or oranges and reds and browns. Mix it up and the idea of something under the sweater sounds good unless you get too hot. Mustard colors look good with brown. I love black with brown too. Looks more sophisticated. Have fun. Sounds pretty.

Try a cherry red or a bright pink. For true color combos try matching your colors to the Pantone Matching System which is the universal standard for color.

PMS 201 - Cherry Red
PMS 1950 - Pink

the best with chocolate brown is blue. Like a smokey blue. Pink looks nice too. Also a rust color or olive green

I would say like a turqouise color or a bright pink color. Actaully many shades of pink may work. Also like a burnt orange would look really nice. Many fall colors. Something bright that will highlight a certain feature like a bright colored belt to highlight your waist. Put something bright anywhere you want that really good part aboutyou to stand out! Yay Fashion!

Light, dusky pink. Laura on Project Runway did stuff in brown/pink this season and it looked FANTASTIC and very smart!
