If it is as pronounced as you describe, you should have already been taken to a doctor about this...

It would not be considered mentally ill, but possibly a neurological problem of some sort. Ask your parents... they may know the answers already. There may also be medications available to help control the tics that might not have been on the market a few years ago.

In my opinoin? Go see a doctor or several doctors as soon as you can! The more that you know, the better that you will be able to fight or live with whatever condition you may have. Living with a disablity and having family members with disabilities, I should know that once you go see a doctor, and get all the information you can, that is only when you can figure out how to handle it further. I wish you well and hope that everything works out! God Bless! HMD!

It doesn't sound mental...it sounds like a neurological thing. Maybe mini seizures or as you said tics...perhaps a form of epilepsy??
If you were mental you most likely wouldn't be as conscious of it and wouldn't be trying to control it.
See your doctor, it may be as simple as taking a pill once a day.
Good luck.

I would definitely go see a doctor - one that will listen to your concerns and take you seriously.

What you describe could be a mental disorder - or it could be something medical, possibly neurological that can be treated or managed.

Have you ever been to the psychiatrist with this disorder?
Are you living with your parents? Do they know what u are going through? I wish you alot of luck . If you cannot get any kind of health care coverage there are many searches online for free health clinics to go to.
