computer doesn' start, but CPU fan does work and the keyboard lights and hard disk light keeps flickering. whats wrong with my PC.

i even changed my power supply... i had a 250 w previously but now i have a 400 w antec power supply... is it possible that the motherboard is gone??/ how can i find out that??/

Most likely a power supply problem. The supply is just not pushing out enough volts to start the computer. The fans and keyboard only use a small amount of voltage compared to the motherboard. You would be suprised how many things can be solved by replacing the power supply. One of the most common PC problems. PC companies like to put in power supplies that are just powerful enough and then as soon as the supply breaks down a bit, bang there goes your machine. Dont put a supply in less than 350W.

That handed off To Me In My Case I had to Take It aside and that i realized That A Fuse Had Blown... maximum computer's contain An 'Expiration Day'. I had to purchase a sparkling One. i advise you're taking It To A Technician. :D

check monitor cable. try with another monitor. or try to boot in safe mode.

It is possible some external wiring or connection is not working or loose.
