My friend recorded a video that is 11.5 MB on her digital camera. She doesn't want to erase & loose her video of her family. But would rather find a easy to use editing program to help. She can send any video/Mpeg if it is 10.0 MB or smaller. That way if she does record longer ones. She can still keep it,edit & send the to her family & friends. However,She would like to find a free one if at all possible to use seeing she doesn't have any credit or debit cards

Editing programs range from Ulead to whatever tickles your fancy. (1) http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=film%20editing&

Use an encompassing film transposition to computer that allows basic editing and touchups on Visuals AND Audio through an all rounded editing tool in Studio(2) or Premiere (3). Text and animations may also be inserted with video on top of film to provide contrast and contextual depth. Mac users might want to consider Final Cut Pro.(4)

E-tutorials available for here(5) for your convenience.

you can try the built in editing software in windows (found at: Start > All Programs > Accesories > Entertainment > Windows Movie Editor) but for some reson its not always there

or you could try dowload.com
just be aware most of theyre stuff is crippleware meaning its just a trial. this means that theyre will most likely be somehting limited about the software(i.e. file time limit, file size limit, number of uses, time for usage, watermarks on the video, company logos on the video, denied access to better functions, inability to save any work, etc) so be sure to check exactly what the limitations are for the crippleware and make sure they wont affect you too much, or look for the ever illusive free ware(completely free! no strings attached!) only downside is that free ware tends to suck/ not be as good
