In the Noah's ark story, all the other people on Earth died and only Noah's family existed. Thus all the nationalities on Earth "evolved" from Noah's family within just a few thousand years. Not to mention family incest...lol. Now please, who do people still argue evolution and follow fairy tales like Noah's ark?

That has nothing to do with evolution, that's just humans reproducing.

I am Christian and would argue for evolution but you are missing the point of the Noah story. All the animals that ever will be were on the ark and man has not evolved from Noah's family the idea is that we are created by God and are degenerating since we live shorter lives. It cannot get better it can only get worse and this is due to moral failure not biology.

The story of Noah does NOT make evolution real. Different nationalities did not evolve over time only through Noah's family - Read about the tower of Babel in the bible...this will explain how that took place. Incest issue, anyone who is familiar with the bible realizes families had to reproduce in the early times...Also common since, knowing we all originally came from Adam and Eve.

The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits (Genesis 6:15). Unlike many whimsical drawings that depict the Ark as some kind of overgrown houseboat (with giraffes sticking out the top), the Ark described in the Bible was a huge vessel. Not until the late 1800s was a ship built that exceeded the capacity of Noah’s Ark. The dimensions of the Ark are convincing for two reasons: the proportions are like that of a modern cargo ship, and it is about as large as a wooden ship can be built. The cubit gives us a good indication of size. With the cubit’s measurement, we know that the Ark must have been at least 450 feet (137 m) long, 75 feet (23 m) wide, and 45 feet (14 m) high. In the Western world, wooden sailing ships never got much longer than about 330 feet (100 m), yet the ancient Greeks built vessels at least this size 2,000 years earlier. China built huge wooden ships in the 1400s that may have been as large as the Ark. The biblical Ark is one of the largest wooden ships of all time—a mid-sized cargo ship by today’s standards.

I guess that they are better informed and wiser than you who believe that Noahs ark is a fairy tale as it has been found to be true and it was found on mt Arrarat in Turkey so by your twisted and convoluted illogic you evolved from your grandparents boy are they going to be surprised that their children didnt give birth to you you evolved how does it feel to be the only person in human history to have done so while the rest of humanity are merely descendants of our grandparents ect going way back and I guess you know little about genetics and biology and anatomy and physiology chemistry to know about adaptation ie when you move to a warmer climate like africa or middle east you body produces a lot of a hormone called melanin which darkens the skin and if you move to a cooler climate like alaska or the artic you body produces less of melanin so your skin lightens up come on now that basic high school biology you really need to do your homework try harder next time Gorbalizer

You're clearly not looking for an answer, as you use ad hominem slurs against the Bible. But I might ask you - how can you possibly believe that the complexity of man and the human body evolved from a hydrogen cloud in a supposed "big bang" (which most scientists are abandoning, btw)? You really believe that an eye evolved from a rock? That we're just rearranged pond scum, as that paradigm of evolution - Scientific American - once said in 1995? Perhaps you should focus on the problems in your own theory before you start attacking the beliefs of others.

How in the world did you get out of Noah's ark that they evolved. Evolved into what? The nationalities and different tongues came later when one of Noah's great grandson's built the city of Babylon and built the tower of Babylon. That is when God scattered the inhabitants and changed there languages. It is written that they all spoke the same language before that. Their physical appearance hasn't changed, we still have two legs, two arms and breathe with lungs, but because of environment and different weather systems and things like that they adapted to the environment. And of course his son's had their wives to procreate. There was no incest involved. Genesis Chapter 6:18.

There is some disparity between "macro-evolution" (wide-scale evolution, such as fins turning into feet) and "micro-evolution" (such as a species developing long necks, or a different coloration).

Of course, comparing two very different things as Noah's Ark and evolution is going to create some confusion. Are you sure you aren't simply attacking Christianity?

Just for the sake of argument, all dog species evolved from wolves....;)

There is a confusion in people's minds over the word "evolution."
First, the kind of evolution you, personally, are talking about here is not----NOT----the controversial Evolution that Charles Darwin started all the trouble about in the 19th Century. He is talking about one species-----species------"evolving"
(through mutations----which are 90% fatal and 10% harmful---and natural selection of killing and competing and annihilating, then evolving into ANOTHER and ANOTHER and ANOTHER species, until it is a completely different animal, with no resemblance to the original/
Only a madman would think this possible. And his theory, now accepted, is madness.

The story of Noah isn't a good one to support evolution. If you read it carefully, you'll see that all of the other nationalities that came forth from Noah's family came about within a mere 3 or 4 generations, and we all know how evolution is supposed to take countless millions of years.

I've noticed quite a few chronological incongruities in the bible, actually... lol

That's not evolution, it's being fruitful and multiplying!!! Having sex and having babies. Completely different from evolution. You need to at least know the difference between re-populating and evolution before you ask a question on the subject.
