There is always someone who posts a link to a creationist web site spouting Christian pseudo-science. People, this stuff has been debunked years ago...ALL of it. Do us all a favor and stop quoting information that is 30 years old and been proven incorrect.

I would rather you site information that is peer reviewed, current and not based on 2000 year old fairy tales.

Evolution is not a "belief". It is a scientific theory based on "facts" and "evidence". It is there for anyone to disprove, it is open to change and does what any good theory does. It predicts.

The scientific theory of evolution is at its very core logical. It has stood up to 150 years of tests.

In essence, you are saying that the scientists who believe in creation are less intelligent than the scientists who believe in evolution. That's kind of a double standard, isn't it? After all,the creationist scientists have the same credentials as the scientists you so religiously believe in.
" Many people believe in evolution for the simple reason that they think science has proven it to be a "fact",and therefore,it must be accepted. In recent years,a great many people have finally been persuaded to make a real examination of the problem of evolution, have become convinced of its fallacy and are now convinced anti-evolutionists."- Henry Morris, former evolutionist.
Darwin himself once said," I have asked myself whether I may not have devoted my life to a fantasy. I am ready to cry with vexation at my blindness and presumption."
Albert Einstein may not have been a follower of God,but he did believe in God."Science wthout religion is lame: religion without science is blind."
" The proposition that the Bible must be interpreted by science is all but self-evident. Nature is as truly a revelation of God as the Bible, and we only interpret the word of God when we interpret the Bible by science." - Charles Hodge
" the philosophy of evolution is based upon assumptions that cannot be scientifically verified.Whatever evidence can be assembled for evolution is both limited and circumstantial in nature." - G.A. Kerkut,pro-evolution
And when we examine the respective evidence still more closely,we shall find that there are almost insuperable difficulties with the evolutionary explanation of EACH of the different evidences. They can all be understood much better in terms of special creation than in terms of evolution."
I wholeheartedly believe that the more scientists, evolutionists and creationists, study evolution, the more convinced they will ALL be that evolution is just not logical, and the only other alternative is that the universe and all life was created by God,or,for the atheistic evolutionists,a Higher Being.I believe the atheists would believe aliens created us before they would admit to the existence of God.But,in any case, evolution will be thoroughly discredited at some point. In actuality,it already has been in the minds of many, many scientists. It's only a matter of time before the others follow suit.
Famous evolutionist Robert Broom said," Divine intervention is the only explanation for the origin of the qualities that made Homo Sapiens so special."
By the way,why do you say that information from 30 years ago is incorrect? The theory of evolution came about over 100 years ago,yet you still blindly believe it,even with all the scientifically proven facts that evolution is,to say the least, biochemically impossible. When science says evolution is a proven fact, they mean that micro-evolution is a proven fact, and nothing more.
I think Professor Anthony Flew,a long time and legendary debater for atheism, summed up very nicely what is going to happen in the world of science." It now seems to me that the findings of more than 50 years of DNA research have provided materials for a new and enormously powerful argument to design."" It now seems to me that the case for an Aristotelian God who has the characteristics of power and also intelligence,is now much stronger than it ever was before."

whenever they have a problem in life, they go to their god and their bible. They then proceed to misinterpret already illogical statements, making them even worse. After that, they try to govern the world on those principles and their ancient book that has no proof behind it, and not a smarter set, like, oh, say, the Constitution. They have no idea what they're talking about. Evolution has been observed and proven. Why the #%$@ are there so many forms of the common cold? Because it evolves into millions of species, frustrating millions of people who get two or three a year.

Where on earth did you get that absurd notion that evolution is real it is pure fiction /fantasy there is no scientific proof for it all the alleged proof turned out to be a fraud and also the human genome project disproved it some time ago and most leading scientists in the face of irrefutable genetic, biological , sciences now regard it evolution as a farce you are the one that is behind the times come into the 21 century keep up with the current state of the art in technology Gorbalizer

Well actually you are wrong.

Creation has held up over not 150 years but 6,00 years.....

Lookie!!! Evolution is bullcrap!

Evidence #1
There are no transitional links and intermediate forms in either the fossil record or the modern world. Therefore, there is no actual evidence that evolution has occurred either in the past or the present.

Evidence #2
Natural selection (the supposed evolution mechanism, along with mutations) is incapable of advancing an organism to a "higher-order".

Evidence #3
Although evolutionists state that life resulted from non-life, matter resulted from nothing, and humans resulted from animals, each of these is an impossibility of science and the natural world.

Evidence #4
The supposed hominids (creatures in-between ape and human that evolutionists believe used to exist) bones and skull record used by evolutionists often consists of `finds' which are thoroughly unrevealing and inconsistent. They are neither clear nor conclusive even though evolutionists present them as if they were.

Evidence #5
Nine of the twelve popularly supposed hominids are actually extinct apes/ monkeys and not part human at all.

Evidence #6
The final three supposed hominids put forth by evolutionists are actually modern human beings and not part monkey/ ape at all. Therefore, all twelve of the supposed hominids can be explained as being either fully monkey/ ape or fully modern human but not as something in between.

Evidence #7
Natural selection can be seen to have insurmountable social and practical inconsistencies.

Evidence #8
Natural selection has severe logical inconsistencies.

Evidence #9
The rock strata finds (layers of buried fossils) are better explained by a universal flood than by evolution.

Creation: We were made a loving God. There are thousands of examples out there (if we were a fraction of an inch closer/farther to/from the sun, we'd explode, water expands instead of condenses when it freezes--the only exception to this rule, and a good one, or else life couldn't exist, giraffes--how did their necks evolve? They'd have died out long ago if they did evolve.) Creation is beautiful and intensely intricate.

Evolution: Nothing exploded and here we are!

Christianity and evolution are 100% compatible. Only a minority of Christian Fundamentalists refuse to accept the truth of evolution, instead opting for a literal interpretation of a book intended to ultimately be allegorical. The Supreme Court ruled that creationism isn't a science, but a religious belief, which is exactly what it is.

It's their right to post there.
It isn't that they beleiove in creationist so much as it is they want to beleive there is somethoing after death. People jus tdo not want death to be the end, and it is for you in this body and life.
Your body will eventually beocme the dust it came from, and you will never know it. all lifes leaves or I think so. Life is all electrical circuiots operating a chemical host. When the host dies the spark dies, when the spark dies the host dies. That's it.
Religious folks refuse to accept this evn though they know it to be true.
I guess it's ok to dream:)., but their dreams should not include forcing others to indulge in it.

Because the men who edited, erased, added and changed the scriptures to their liking in the early centuries have succeeded in what they set out to accomplish for the most part. That, of course, was backed up by several centuries of murderous rampage and torture to ensure that no questions would ever be asked and no ideas doubted.

No other entity, no other single group of people that has existed on this planet has murdered, raped, tortured and/or destroyed more lives than Christians. This is a fact.

It keeps people in check.

Hmmm... and I noticed that YOU did not cite ANY sources.. peer review or otherwise...

and.. make up your mind... is information that is 30 years old.. older or younger than your "proof"?...

how long ago is your "debunked years ago"? more than 30 years? less?...

Unfortunately your question sounds just like most evolutionist conversations... you state that evolution is a fact when in actuallity it is still a theory.. and a failing one at that.. you are grasping at straws to keep it alive...

If all life is evolving, why do we not see a continuous spectrum of life from the earliest lifeforms to us... not that they died out... if they did then NEW ones should have evolved at later times too...

someday you WILL realize that it was not evolution but rather that God created life similar to other forms of life.. just like any artist's paintings seem to evolve from one type to another.. yet they are CREATED by the same artist.

Why don't you leave the creationists alone, there are very few of them anyway.
Magical creationists are not even creationists, they are sola scripturist literalists who think they have the authority to interpret the Bible for themselves, apart from the Tradition of the Church. The end result is what you see. Division, confusion, and theological chaos.

Well, that's what you believe isn't it? And how has creation been proven incorrect?

And YOU KNOW... it IS possible to accept both ideals... ^_^

You don't have to go around insulting it (it sure sounds like you are)... people could just as well insult evolution...

And I'm not critisizing any of it though. I am Christian but still accept evolution. It's not like I am completely against it. It's sort of hard to get your head around the fact that we may have come from apes/monkeys... but anyways...

Hmm, and you sound like your trying to sell your beliefs... let people belive what they want to. If they believe in evolution, let them believe in evolution. If they believe in creation, let them belive in creation. And if they believe in both, then good for them.

Thank you ^_^
