im going insane!!,, PLEASE HELP!?

this is exactly what is goin on with me..
today when i started my PS2 i wanted to load a game it told me that the memory is not formatted and it has o be formatted (ive used the memory card a lot before).. so i did format the memory card..
after a while.. while im playin.. the auto-save couldnt save the game.. by tellin me that saving failed.. so i went to the browser in the main menu of the PS2.. and it told me that the memory card is not formatted and should be formatted now!!..
alhough the memory card is still new yet!
PLEASE help.. im goin insane with this.. coz it has been happening for 2 days now

call sony. i have had a hell of a time with the first big ps2s. i had to send it back 4 time because it would say disc read error or the game would freeze or not load or not play at all. finally i said screw it and baught a flat one. so far so good. bastards i went through so much crap with mine.
