10's of thousands of Church leaders around the USA support Evolutionary Biology and leaders of Christianity have written letters of acceptance of how Evolution is a fact explained by scientific theories. Given this why do some Christians deny science? Are they ignorant of how science really works? Have they been deceived by false Christians who are growing rich by selling lies to them?

As a life long Christian I have seen both happening and have seen the evil of anti-science creationism in my own church. Even though most of the people I know and have grown up with accept that science is a man made system that cannot say anything about God, I hear the same deceitful misinformation brought up over and over proving that some creationists are only praying on the scientific ignorance of some to make money off their lies.

Join me in praying for their greedy souls and help me to spread the truth about the difference between man made science and Gods eternal word

I am sorry you did not either understand the question or read the sources I gave. Please edit your answer to include the sources.

Also you should do some research into the Philosophy of Science. Science is man made since science is a system that cannot say anything about God or any deities existance or non-existance as that would be called theolgy.

THE ANSWER'S -

You should look into concepts before making claims and proving that your are parroting ignorance based off of outdated information.

Irreducible Complexity has been shown to be lacking in every example that has been given (not counting that Intelligent Design people like Behe say that Evolution occurred just as proven by the fact of the fossil record with the addition of a guiding force).

To start out a mouse trap can be taken apart and the parts used for a purpose, just as the separate parts of the Flagellum have been proven to be used in other bacteria. These uses and parts are built by the same genes that make up the flagellum and Behe, he who made up and keeps this example alive, forgot to include the simpler examples of flagellums including the structural and genetic precursors in his book. So your claim that “…no scientist has presented an evolutionary model…” is either pure ignorance or intentional deceit.

THE ANSWER’S – Part 2

Check http://www.millerandlevine.com/km/evol/design2/article.html and you will find out that the not only are there many examples of modern flagellum that require less than 40 proteins, but that many of those proteins (and the genes that encode them) are used for different purposes in bacterial membrane organelles. Just this one example shoots down your bogus claim of Dembski’s “Specified Complexity” and I would suggest that you do some research on real scientific criticism of this inaccurate concept.

As for your claim that science does not support Evolutionary Biology you could not be farther from the truth. The FACT is that various fields of science such as Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and concepts in Mathematics all CONVERGE from separate areas to support Evolutionary Biology. I am sorry that you have not taken the time to study the truth and instead have only incredulity as your basis for making your statements.

Because of a few minority Christian Fundamentalists. Tongue in cheek, Fundamentalists blindly accept the lies provided by Answers in Genesis, or Kent Hovind. Yes, I sincerely hope I live to see the day when faith and science no longer seem a deterrent to one another, and can live together in harmony.

What the majority believe is not a reliable indicator of what is true. For example, long ago, the majority of scientists believed the Earth was flat!

There is much scientific evidence that refutes evolution (i.e., the idea that one species mutated into a completely different species). Unfortunately, our learning institutions are bent on keeping this information from students.

There is a concept called Irreducible Complexity that makes evolution impossible. Something that is irreducibly complex cannot be reduced to a simpler, functioning object; and all parts of the object must be in place in order for it to function. For example, a mousetrap must have all parts in place at the same time in order for it to function properly. Darwin wrote, "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifictions, my theory would absolutely break down."

Bacterial flagellum and DNA could not possibly have evolved! The flagellum requires the coordination of 40 proteins. If one protein is missing, the flagellum will not function. All proteins had to be present at one time in order for the flagellum to function. To date, no scientist has presented an evolutionary model of the flagellum.

DNA exhibits characteristics of Specified Complexity. In order for an object to exhibit Specified Complexity, it must be complex (consisting of many components), contingent (more than one possibility), and specified (follow a pattern). DNAs "letters" (acid bases) must be in a specific order (called a sequence) in order to create instructions for building proteins. A letter out of place or missing will cause the DNA to fail to function.

Complex organisms, such as the human body, could not possibly be a product of "chance," which is exactly the idea behind evolution.

Most people who profess to believe in evolution do so because they want to be considered among the "elite intellectuals" who spread the misinformation of evolution. The truth is that science does not support evolutionary theory, and the public is being allowed access to only bits and pieces of information to force fit the theory of evolution.

Is this some kind of satire or something I didn't get? You do not speak for mainstream Christianity calling science man-made, you're just plain wierd.

"Methodical research in all branches of knowledge, provided it is carried out in a truly scientific manner and does not override moral laws, can never conflict with the faith, because the things of the world and the things the of the faith derive from the same God. The humble and persevering investigator of the secrets of nature is being led, as it were, by the hand of God in spite of himself, for it is God, the conserver of all things, who made them what they are" (CCC 159).

It is a method of control, and of setting up the "faithful" as being apart from the rest of society, thus strengthening their internal bonds and also, in some cases, trying to get a "foot in the door" to temporal power, such as school boards. In some ways it is similar to cult behavior, isolating the "believers" from the rest of society. This is generally a top-down type of thing, dictated by egomaniacal leaders rather than a genuine expression of faith by the flock.

WELL YOU SEEMS VERY UP TO DATE.

SCIENCE I THINK SUPPORTS SCRIPTURE.

PEOPLE KNOW UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURE.
THUS THEY FALL INTO TRYING TO INTERPRET SOMETHING
THEY KNOW LITTLE OF.
HAVE TO GO BACK TO HEBREW WRITING TO GET UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS MOST OFTEN SAID.

WORD DON'T TRANSLATE INTO LATIN AND ENGLISH WELL.
SO TRANSLATORS FUDGE THOSE MEANING AND CHANGE
