you have some doubts about your faith? If you where 100% in your faith, any other belief or theory should have no effect on you. You shouldn't care about it or give it the slightest amount of you time, because to do so would only distract from your "true" faith.
As an athiest I will freely admit that I have doubts about everything, thats why I question, and search for answers, I might be wrong, but at least I'm basing my beliefs on evidence instead of blind faith.

No Darwin did not do that. Thats another creationist "strawman" Its completely false. I would suggest checking more than one "christian" source before making such a comment.

I believe faith and science are compatible. I believe we should interpret the Book of Genesis as symbollic, or allegorical, given the light of modern scientific discoveries.

Yes, there are other doubts about our faith, but that's what faith is. Faith is knowing that ultimately our faith might appear to be weak, but our faith is what makes it strong.

Sorry friend, but I do follow with scientific theory and scientific laws. I keep my spiritual side well separated from my scientific side.
Please do try to remember when dealing with such fanatics these facts:
All fanatics have NO sense of humor.
Science is based on facts which can be repeated and is provable
Religious faith/spirituality is based a wild leap of imagination.
Never the two should meet my friend.
Faith based pseudo science has no basis in real science at all and definitely must not be taught as fact.

The "theory of evolution" doesnt "challenge" my faith. Its a THEORY! LOL. It takes more faith to believe in macro evolution than it does to believe in God. PROVE that a lizard can evolve into a bird, or that a monkey can evolve into an ape into a human.
No concrete PROOF exists.
What "evidence" are you basing your beliefs in? Show it to me.
Evidence that God exists is all around us. Evidence that macro evolution exists has yet to be found! But you probably have never even heard the term "macro evolution, therefore you wouldnt even really know what YOU are talking about, much less what I am talking about!
Study some more before you try to challenge someone who knows what they are talking about!!!!

I have no doubt about my Faith. I do not believe in evolution. As a Christian I like to read and do research about other people, other Religions, or non-religions, it's just a curiosity thing to see why they believe the way they do, or don't. It does not distract me from my faith, in fact, I believe learning about other Religions, or non-religions make me stronger in my belief of God, and the Bible.

The concepts of evolution doesn't challenge anyones faith.

It's the teaching that we evolved from the great apes, that Science does not even agree with, in the schools that is a problem.

By the way -- don't feel offend I ask this question of everyone spouting about evolution -- what was the skin color Homo Erectus?

What it black, yellow, brown, red or white?

Evolutionism does state we all have a common ancestor, so what color was the skin of that ONE common ancestor?

Hun, even if you could prove to me 100% that evolution was true, the only reaction you'd get from me would be "Wow, God sure planned that well, didn't He?"
Evolution doesn't challenge my faith. Does God challenge yours?

Did you know that Darwin spent the last years of his life trying to convince people that his theory of evolution was wrong? Even Darwin didn't believe in it. Why do you?
