I can't go running/walking/ or jogging outside b/c the neighborhood that I live in isn't the best. I would like to jump rope, but I live in an upstairs apartment. Don't have time to drive all the way to the gym. anybody have any suggestions on what to do for some cardio workouts?

Buy a stepper with handle, that's what I recommend to my students. Normally, you heartrate can raise to 110-120 beats per min, it's good and safe for burning fat. Your can watch your favorite program while you are doing your work-out.

Get you some aerobic videos and workout at home...I live in a 2nd floor apt and as long as you watch how much jumping you do, there's no reason you can't get a good workout, work up a sweat, and burn calories without your downstairs neighbors fearing the ceiling is about to fall on them...

I have a variety of videos I use...Crunch, Denise Austin, Buns of Steel, (old) Jane Fonda, and anything else I can get my hands on...variety helps keep you from getting bored...also, if you have cable TV, look for the channels that have fitness shows on (Lifetime has Denise Austin at 6am, or used to)...

nothing is more effective as simple running/ jogging..its even better when u do on an incline. Invest in a possible portable treadmill

get a portable treadmill or an exercising tape. it money is the problem then go to your nearest pawn shop. they may have a used one there.
