I lost faith in the human race when I was young because their very existence is a contradiction, how could something as dumb as a human make it as far as they have. And the sad thing is humans are becoming dumber as time goes on.

There are no contradictions in the Bible - only misunderstandings on the part of the one who reads it. You must consider the context of each statement in question.

For example, in Matthew 5:16 and 6:1, Jesus discusses the motivation for doing good deeds. In Matthew 5:16, we are told to let our lights shine so that God is glorified. In Matthew 6:1, Jesus teaches that we are NOT to do good deeds to be seen of men.

I don't think it is so much that you believe in the bible as such, It is more important to understand the wisdom behind his teaching, it is something we all live by today, we can question and criticize what is written, but one has to ask himself where could a person acquire such knowledge and wisdom, and it is that wisdom that makes me believe and respect the lord Jesus Christ, no other human being has ever presented such knowledge to mankind.

You do not understand the Bible, if you did, you would know that it NEVER contradicts itself. The reason you don't understand is quite simple........
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

so there you have it, you are spiritually dead. Good news, you have an option, you can put your trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord and become Spiritually alive for all eternity.

Parroting the words of other people doesn't make you sound intelligent. You simply cut & pasted these from another website. I could just as easily cut & paste a rebuttal.

These "contradictions" are old and were rebutted long ago.

If you want to be taken seriously, at least do your own research.
