I make a lot of my own soups, but sometimes I do not have time and canned soup is very easy to keep on hand at work for days I cannot bring a lunch, but I hate all the salt in the canned soups.
I have not found a lot of varieties with low sodium, so is there a way to lower the sodium in canned soup?

I'd add something (milk or a can of tomatoes), but that isn't very practical for at-work convenience food, no.

The only thing I can think of is that the old cure for accidentally over-salting what you're cooking at home is to cook a potato in it for a little while; it's supposed to 'absorb' the excess salt. Whether it just affects the taste or actually lowers the sodium content, I have no idea. And throwing a sack of potatoes in your office, and hogging the microwave for the 10-15 minutes suggested for said potato magic, probably isn't very helpful either. Apologies. But I thought it might be interesting nonetheless.

If you're short on time, the only suggestion would be to add extra water. You sacrifice some of the flavor, but if you don't eat all of it, there will be less sodium consumed.

If you have a little bit of time, you can heat the soup up on the stove and add a potato (cut in half). Potatoes absorb salt/sodium. You would probably want to let it simmer for a few minutes doing it this way. (You don't have to eat the potato.)

I understand your frustration, I'm on a low salt diet. There isn't really a way to lower sodium in regular soup, but take heart--Campbell's and Progresso are bringing out more low sodium soups.

Not unless you buy soup that has lower sodium or if you add additional water to the soup to dilute the servings. You'll have to buy soup with lower sodium levels to begin with or make your quick batch of soup with lower sodium broth.

Dilute the soup with some water. You'll lower the sodium count and make more soup for yourself.
