why dont the lcd on my digital camera work,every thing else seems to work. its a canon s1is power shot?

some cameras have an option to not use the lcd. try going throught the options and turning it on. if that dosn't work take it back.

1. It might be defective
2. Look for the button which has a small rectangle or square beside it and while the camera is on try pressing it. If it still doesn't work, press it again.

If it still doesnt work, bring it back to the store and insist on a refund/exchange.
