There is most likely no god so we are most likely the only ones who can "play god"- is it not our moral duty to do so seeing as we are the ones who decide what god is and what it's/his/her wishes are?

Although religious types may say "What else could explain the existence of such a complicated universe.", the truth behind all things is at the moment undeterminable- it is just as likely that a pineapple created all things without any reason or masterplan and it is therefore pointless to speculate on any one particular cause of our existence without observable evidence.

The first three answers are s.h.i.t- any sensible people out there who do't mind giving an intelligent answer(even if your beliefs differ to mine).

Fourth answer not so bad but still misunderstanding the pineapple analogy.

The one God who I worship gave us all free will ,so you can worship the pineapple ,you can eat it also, you may be healthy in the long run ,you may even go to pineapple heaven, but they don't like meat there so be careful. I prefer the heaven I've been offered hope to see you there! Taking care of your body as your temple is good but by faith I've known some who never washed a wound and lived a long happy life until God chose their time to die .They sure did not smell to good and went through a lot of pain till they healed up!

Define "play god". It seems to me that even taking an antibioitc is playing god. 150 years ago the average lifespan was in the mid-40's. It was that way for the past few thousand years. That seems to show that that is our natural lifespan. If believers think that god has a plan for everyone and they won't die before their time, what is the point of even washing a wound?

Apparently god won't take you no matter what until it's time... right?

It is the only reason for your existence is to speculate on the possibility of One Source of Creation. For there is nothing else really worth while.

Get up off your bottom and start really looking, reading and asking ..............oh....open up your mind a bit too, you will come to realize there is more to us than meets the eye.!!!

Asking pseudo-philosophical questions to look clever - is it not necessary?
