They also talk about the maitreya, and say that he is here now, and that the time is short. He is said to have been raised Hindu. They talk about a secret order which is about to be overt in the world.

After finding references to this order in Bible, thank you for info., it says in hebrews 7:17-26, that that regulation passed, because we are saved threw Jesus. So what does that say about this order of preist? Here is there web site.

It looks like more prophecy coming true. Maitreya is "NOT" Jesus.

Melchizedek priesthood is in reference to Jesus.

In Israel, the priests couldn't be kings, and kings couldn't be priests.

Melchizedek was the king and high priest of Jehovah in Jerusalem, prior to the Law Covenant.

Jesus in The Kingdom has been appointed King and Priest to Jehovah.

Anointed Christians who go to heaven to reign with Christ are also kings and priests with Jesus.

Rev. 5:9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

Jesus is the one that replaces Melchizedek as the Most High Priest.

The Bible speaking of Jesus:

Psa 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek

Heb 5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

The origins of the Melchizedek priesthood and their ties to a
theocratic government goes back to the OT story/history of the
sucessful revolt of the Maccabees, holding rule in Israel
[until Herod Antipas, with the backing of the Romans].

Melchizedek was the first High Priest after the successful revolt;he and his family were given the hereditary role of the chief priest. He "earned" this for his offspring by his fervent enforcement of the law....to the extent that he was said to have killed Jewish men that had married gentile woman...and other equally "faithful" acts
