Most, I am not saying all, but most guys like stuck up or preppy girls. And most stuck up girls are really rude and don't even treat the guy right. I would not miss treat a guy. Yet maybe they like it I don't know. Or maybe all high school guys care about is sex. And they think they can get some from them.
I am a virgin, and I am going to be until I am married, if a guy really likes me he will wait for me until we get married, If he dosen't I can do way better.
But I want a boyfriend but it seems like guys my age don't even notice me because I am sort of shy.

Awww's at jimmy's answer.... well hum.. tot ell u the truth my teacher told me that high school years most guys think it is liek fun to be with s l u t s and rude girls because you know they think the stuck up ones will have sex with them... lolz (health teacher said those guys don't think from their brains they think from their boners.. Ya i know all the guys go for the preppy girls and rude girls. I know how u feel. maybe try to talk to some of the guys or just say hi to them in the hall way. u got to start somewhere!

guys think those girls are easy to get. Think about it this way, girls are like apples, the easy ones are on the bottom and the best ones are on top. only the good guys get the better ones. you seem like one of the better ones. just wait, your time will come. save yourself for the right guy. I did and he was a virgin too, we have been married for 25 years and still going strong.

Because theyre immature and insecure. They want to have the popular girls. They eventually grow out of it. Of course if guys really care for you they'll wait, its rare to find a guy like that in high school. I didnt have a boyfriend until i was out of high school for that reason. Theyre immature. I've wondered the same thing for a long time now...I can't stand girls like that...There's a few of them "messing" with my current boyfriend..and it's driving me crazy, because I don't go to the same school as him..It's horrible 'cause I feel like I don't really know what is going on in his life...Don't change girl, I felt exactly like you, until I started going out with this guy..I mean, don't get me wrong, we've had our ups and downs. I've even thought we were gonna break up before..but, we worked through it, 'cause that's what love does...Anyways, My Point being, just hang on girl, God has a good guy in store for you...and, someday when you least expect it..You'll figure out who that guy is, just like i did!=]

you stay how you are, you are fine the way you are. but they like the stuck up, preppy type because they think it is cool to have a girl like that and most of the time when they r w/ girls like that, they r like that themselves. and most of those guys and girls all they care for is sex, that is the main reason why most guys like girls like that.

Because they haven't grown up yet....they will change their mind..trust me. They learn to like other things as the years go by. Ask any older guy/man.....they will tell you they like open minded, intelligent, hard working girls with average looks over Barbie any day!

You're saying guys don't notice you because you're shy, but how many shy guys are you not noticing because they're not saying anything? It might be worth pondering.
