I-95 from DC to Richmond is some of the worse driving on I-95 because of the volume of cars and trucks. I always take Rt-301 instead of I-95 and when you get to Richmond, take the I-295 bypass to get past Richmond and Petersburg if you are going further south.

wonderful, exits are clearly marked and there are places along the way to stop for food, gas and a walk around. been up and down that route numerous times
