Are you taking antihistamines for a sinus problem? Sometimes those have that effect on me. Either the nasal spray and/or a pill that relieves congestion, etc...

So lets get this straight, you stated that your skull feels numb, but then said your head feels numb? I'm pretty sure you meant head so i'll go with that. If you were hit in the head, obviously that would be a cause, however, if that is not the case then it could be a persistent headache or if you are stressed out, i.e. exams or whatever, you may have a tension headache, where all the muscles in your face and head cramp up and hurts for a long time. My tension headache persisted for 4 days straight and 600mg of ibuprofen still didn't help. Hopefully you feel better, if it keeps persisting try monitoring your intake of calcium and if that doesn't help, see a doctor.

Could it be some sort of nerve problem? Who knows. You better get to a doctor. If you don't have insurance, try going to an after hours clinic. They usually have low office visit rates.
