Do they forget to tell Christians that that scientific law applies to systems that are in equilibrium?

as a matter of fact, as a scientist who happens to be christian as well, i use the 2nd law (1st & 3rd also) every single day.

but that has nothing to do with faith or the fact that God does exist.

OK I have been ignoring you but I will try to answer this (Rated M) question. If you actually have one; open a text book ..any 101 text book will do. Look for "revisions". Do you know why there are revisions? There are mistakes. Now I am glad you brought up Thermodynamics Lets see if this is a (Rated M) for the scientific community. The sun burns off how much of its mass each day? (I cant remember how much) Now lets reverse that scientific fact and re add the mass burnt off of the sun every day and back it up just two million years. The Earth is a crispy critter or actually no critter at all. Science is the art of developing an idea so complex that no one will challenge it and then reap the funding and praise for your trouble.
But I'm an ignorant Christian so this is all nonsense right?
May GOD richly bless you

Well, then they'd have to explain the tendency of chemicals to configure themselves into certain patterns in non-equilibrium systems and from there things just get messy because you'd have to think that actually the probability of a complex molecule forming in an open system is pretty good.

IT DOES NOT require Equilibrium.

It clearly applies to any CLOSED system. There IS debate as to whether the universe is an open or closed system, but equilibrium is NOT A FACTOR.

It is difficult, virtually impossible to quantify without equilibrium, but it does apply.

For those who know the Laws Of Thermodynamics it might be explained to other christians. To my knowledge though most people do not need a scientific law to let them know of Faith, Grace, Or God.

I think they forget to mention that entropy can get smaller in isolated systems that energy is added to (for instance, the Sun shining on the Earth) as long as the universal entropy is increasing.

Look at you being all scientific and stuff.

the only reason that law applies to equilibrium, is because GOD designed the law.

Not unlike this question.
Your Universe is growing on that stuff.

Yes, we understand that Isolated Atheists become Disordered with Time.

We note that behaviour here all the time!
