Okay, get some coffee cream or some Carnation evaporated milk. Pour into the cup that has your hot chocolate powder in it, about a couple tablespoons or so, enough to make a paste, and stir to get the lumps out. Pour boiling water (or milk) and stir. This adds a creamy, remember-when-you-were-a-kid taste that is great. You can do the same with unsweetened cocoa, but you have to add the sugar. Both taste pretty good. If you're doing milk, heat with caution, as it scalds easily. Either use a double-boiler, use the microwave on a lower setting, or stir rapidly in a single saucepan. I might just have a cup right now. It sure is cold out for this early in the season... Enjoy!

MILK! Its so much richer and creamier than water. Also, I don't like milk straight up, without anything, so hot choclate helps me get in the calcium that I 'should' be getting.
I like Hershey's with marshmallows, its by far the smoothest, greatest type I have tried.

witch is better, yes...actually witches but singlular or plural, we rock! *grins*

Now, if you want to know WHICH is better, milk or water, to make cocoa....I'd go with milk...makes the cocoa richer and creamier tasting...I typically use hershey's chocolate milk powder to make cocoa...

...for pre-packaged (add water) cocoa, Butternut -I think that's the right name (by Coca Cola) is the best I've tasted...but it's typically not available in retail stores...
