Dogs and cats have different nutritional requirements. The food is specifically formulated for either dogs or cats. Cat food is higher in protein. Consistently feeding your dog cat food can be bad for your dog's kidneys. Consistently feeding your cat dog food may not provide your cat with the protein it needs to be healthy.
