It's kind of an awkward situation using a bathroom and then someone else needs to use it. Usually I try to rush cause I don't want to be that weird girl who takes way too long in the bathroom. I usually just say "uuum, just a minute." There has to be something better to say. Any suggestions?

How about "You don't EVEN want to come in here right now."

I always say OCCUPIED....or like you...JUST a MINUTE....lol

I always hurry too. This is so funny you asked this, cuz last summer we were traveling and we stopped at a Burger King, and the bathrooms were both open. It was weird, cuz there were no MEN or WOMENS, there were just two bathrooms. Well, I go in one and I thought the door was locked. I pushed in the button or whatever it was, and thought I was safe....well, Im still sitting there, and suddenly the door comes flying open! It was my friggen husband, and I yell out, HEY! He laughs and says..Youre suppose to lock the door. Good Lord, I thought it WAS locked...LOL

Take your time its your dime. If the door is locked why knock, obviously the bathroom is occupied, people like to control others, why should you hurry, don't dawdle but do what you have to and then leave.

i like the conception of a nationwide do no longer call record for something like door to door recruiting for a pseudo faith that practices hate speech and non secular abuse . they might want to be required to contain a caution that they seem to be a risky team. comparable to the caution on tobacco products . Like "transforming into a JW might want to steer on to psychological ailment, delusional questioning and suicidal ideation "

It would depend on who's knocking.

If it is one of my friends (who I frequently joke around with...

I would say "I'm taking a vicious s**t right now. If you absolutely want to use the can, be prepared to take in da vapors...LOL! If it ain't an emergency, quit your bitchin' and wait like everyone else!! Haha!"

If it is family, I would be more polite..."I'm in here doing nature's business! I'll try to be quick!"

Your choice...

How about "who's there?" It gets the point across and it's kind've funny too. Of course if they answer you back, you may have a whole 'nother set of problems! The safe answer I use is "Someone's in here". Happy poopies!

Ugh, that is SUCH an awkward situation; especially in public places. However, what you say is fine. "Hold on a sec!" usually does the trick for me.

If you locked the door then don't say anything. Otherwise say "Just a sec, I am almost finished writing my phone number on the wall."

If it seems like someone will knock on the door pretend to cough or make noises.

Say it like it is. I always use this line.

I'm taking a ****. Leave a message after the beep. BEEP!

Funniest thing ever and you know they leave after that so you don't gotta worry about taking too long.
