The bible has about fifty errors of fact from physics so biology errors are trivial. It is important to realize that Gallileo was tried for proving the bible was false. Two contradictory chapters in Genesis are no big deal comparitively.
I am a Christian but the bible is filled with errors both factual and logical. If you look carefully you will find 46 logical inconsistancies in the Resurrection accounts alone, that if one account is true others must be strictly false.
The bible was never intended to be used as it has been since the sixteenth century in certain Protestant groups. It never was "THE TRUTH" prior to then, but rather human witnessess to the truth WHO IS GOD. Protestants demand more from the books than the authors put into them.

The major problem in proving evolution is that the first humanoids developed in an area now covered by the Indian Ocean.
The bible could not contain scientific facts about evolution because the theory had not been proposed when the bible was written.

Actually, you are wrong about who is accurate. The bible says that we did not evolve, we were created. The evolution from Australopithecus nonsense has been proved wrong many times. All "ancient humans" and ape forms have been proven to be 100% man OR 100% ape OR a hoax. (Try piltdown man for instance, he was made from a pigs tooth filed to a weird shape. Now lets think about this, why would someone need to fabricate evidence for evolution?) Go to drdino.com for more info.

Because it never happened. Evolution is a theory and not actual fact. Just like Math - there are some things that are theory and some things that are law. Math by and far is the best example.
If you want to go deeper into this debate I would ask you to seek out the Laws of Thermodynamics. These laws stand against the theory of evolution and so in closing if evolution is true then the laws of thermodynamics are false and so are the laws of Math.

We talking about someone from Sydney that loathes a piticus. One of their indiginous creatures I supposed.
What skin color did this fellow have, since you know so much about him.
Black? Brown? Chinese Yellow? Indian Red? Mayan Tan? Or Scandianvian blue eyed blonde white?
Why can't two blacks make a Chinese?
Why can't two Chinese make a Blue Eye Blonde?
Why can't two white people make a black?
Come back an vist us here at R&S again in the future when you can supply some scientific explainations for all this.

it's not a scientific book. but it is quite accurate in the chronology of events. a million years to us is a day to god. so the days of creation may have taken millions of years in our lifetime. during all those years most of the creations must have evolved into something else than the original creation due to the changing environment /climate/ weather conditions to which they have to adapt. the bible didn't have to explain this as the inquiring mind of the homo sapiens will soon find out.

As molecular evidence has accumulated, the constant-rate assumption has proven false.
Therefore an assumption cleverly disguised as fact.
Why write about it?

Australopithecus is an ape. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no such thing as an hominid. It is only found in the science book just like the geologic column. Its just imigination.

It's not that the Bible is not accurate, it's that YOU are not accurate in your idiotic testimony of the "Australopithecus". How can you solely rely on your human being and knowledge, KNOWING you are not perfect? Only God is perfect, just believe in Jesus and you will be saved.
