You could have either pink eye (conjunctivitis) or a cold in your eye. Either way get some boric acid and mix with water. Rinse your eye with the solution. You can go to your doctor and he will give you drops that have the same ingrediants and charge you a heck of a lot. If it gets worse go to the doctors but use the boric acid first. You can ask your pharmacist in locating it in the store it is an Over the counter product. Make sure you wash your hands and do not rub your eye. Pink eye is contagious so make sure if you touch your hands to your face you wash your hands for 20 seconds in as hot of water as you can stand with soap. It is also helpful to wear sunglasses as it will help with the pain.

You dont mention if you have any pain because if you do, you can have a scratched cornea. If not, it could be allergies, but usually both eyes are affected. If just one eye, with severe redness and lots of crusty corners, you probably have pink eye- and its contagious and you would need an antibiotic drop to cure it - see a doc

Ewww, pink eye. Go to a dr. Don't rub the other eye. Wash ur hands after touching it. Use warm wash cloths to clean it.
