I have heard that you can apply Elmer's glue to the area, let dry and then peel the glue with the splinters off.

Put masking tape or duct tape on the skin, then pull it off. It pulls the little splinters out.

Call the doctor. He will put an injection under the skin, that will wash away the stuff. I had glasses under my skin one time. That's what they did at the clinic

I know it's going to be hard, but I would get a pair of tweezers and get started pulling. If all else fails, take her to a minor emergency clinic and have them do it.

start out with a double dose of Nyquil (for her). wait about 20 minutes, then grab them lightly with a pait of fingernail clippers
