You go together to pick out the rings. The bride buys the grooms ring and the groom buys the brides ring. Discuss it and purchase only what you can afford. For your 5th or 10th anniversary get a wow wedding set!

custom dictates that the guy supplies the female an engagement ring. however the female can furnish the guy one if so needed, or a recent of say a watch fastened or something - yet it is optionally available. once you get married then you definitely have a marriage ring, or band, that's merely the bride or the two certainly one of you. i think of the place the confusion is placing in is that for the period of Europe some human beings placed on the marriage band on the left and others on the applicable hand, with the point to verify that folk be responsive to they're married they then placed on a hoop on the two wedding ceremony arms. some worldwide places even have the custom which you place on an engagement ring on one hand and a marriage band on the different. Its very complicated, my in easy terms suggestion is do what feels perfect for the two certainly one of you.

The groom and his fiance usually go to the jeweler together and pick out matching rings...however, it is becoming more popular to get different rings that each person likes. It is completley up to the couple...

I think the rings come in a set. With the bride's and groom's together so they match.

I think that is all about preference. My husband picked out his. I did it this way because I wanted him to have say in a big part of the wedding that affected him, I also wanted him to be happy with his ring :)

Well, the groom does.

However, my Hubby and I wanted similair styles so we picked out our wedding bands as a matching set. They looked gorgeous in our pictures and we are constantly complimented on them.

Basically, I got a feel of what he liked. He showed him pictures on the net and magazines. This really showed me what he liked and did not like. He is the one that ultimately picked his ring and i picked out mine in the same metal and with the same texture to match his.

depends.....ususally both do....but if this is a problem at the start it is not going well as an introduction to marriage. The real question is who is not going to demand a certain look of some material thing and focus on the partnership.

We both did- we actually have slightly different styles, with coordinating detailing so they look like they go together. Mine is a smaller one, since it is worn with my engagement ring, his is much bolder since it is worn solo on his larger hand, but they both have the same banding and edging style.
