someone came on to my property and cleared it of the bushes etc.about one acer.

First, do you know who did it? If you have no information on who, then about all you can do is make a property-owner's claim on your insurance.

Second, was it a government agency or was it an individual? Was the property an "eyesore?"

If it was an individual, and he acted without lawful authorization, you can press charges for vandalism, and then file for reparations from the individual. You may also have a civil suit for damages, but I'd check with a lawyer on that.

You can file a suit with the court that this person didnt get your authorization to clear out bushes on your property or stating why they needed to come on your property anyway. If you know who did it then you can have them served with a warrant.

I would be glad they didnt bill me unless it was bushes you planted and paid for.
