No, we do not celebrate Christmas. It's not part of our religion. Good question though.
Um, lenkug in response to your answer... no we don't. Some do it just for the fun of it, but Christmas isn't part of the religion. It never was.
I hope you can accept my answer (to the questioner) as I'm a practicing Muslim. It's better to hear the truth from us. Thanks.

Yes some Muslims celebrate Christmas for fun ,
And buy the way Jesus was not born on December he was probably
Born in March or September ,some do celebrate it because it s an international holiday not religious but some Muslims like in Saudi KSA
do not even know what is Christmas ,Muslims who celebrate Christmas are usually from Lebanon ,Jordan ,UAE, but even if some Muslims do not
Celebrate Christmas they respect other people s beliefs.
And I repeat Christmas is not religious it s an international holiday.😀😀🎄🎄🎄

I think it depends a lot on where they are from. For example, someone I know grew up Muslim, in a Muslim country, but in a Christian neighbourhood. So they always visited their Christian friends and "celebrated" (food/gifts but not the religious aspect of the celebration). I'm Christian and I don't go to church or do anything religious for Christmas. My favourite parts are the family / friend get togethers, the food, the music, etc. For years and years my Muslim friends and I have exchanged gifts for Christmas and celebrated together. And for the person who asked, we celebrate both Eids each year too. I don't see anything wrong with acknowledging someones holiday, even if you don't believe in it. It doesn't cost me anything to say Eid Mubarak and my friends have never found it hard to say Merry Christmas. I eat some baklawa, they have some (alcohol free) eggnog and everyone has a nice time.

I live in Malaysia - predominately Muslim with a large Christian minority - most of the Muslims I know enjoy the Christmas festivities but I would not say they 'celebrate' Christmas.

I don't and I am a practicing Muslim. We [me and my family] stopped a few years ago when we found out that we should celebrate this festivals as Jesus [Esa] peace and blessings be upon him, was not born on this day. and to my knowledge not even in December. yule is a pagan festival and as that is a polytheistic religion we are not allowed to celebrate but also it isn't our festival. Christmas is basically a Pagan festival 'Yuletide' disguised as a Christian festival imposed on the rest of the world. Most Christians themselves do not celebrate it as a religious festival but as a party sort of thing. how this helps : )

No. We Muslims don't celebrate it. It's not part of our religion. we have two major Eids and other minor festivals.
We just get an offday for Christmas. That's a good thing.

Well Christmas over the years has lost its religious connotation and become more of a celebration and family occasion where people gather to give out gifts to each other so I guess some Muslims do celebrate Christmas. Don’t worry about it too much there is nothing religious about giving out gifts and goodwill to all it is a universal thing.

Christmas has morphed into a very secular holiday. I don't think Muslims should celebrate it as the birth of Christ, but if they want to have the Santa stuff for the kids, hey, why not?

nope, i knew 2 muslim families that didn't. they used it as an excuse to get their kids presents and they also hung up some white christmas lights, but they kept telling me that they didn't celebrate christmas. they were sure to tell me this again and again. they celebrated the commercialized version of gift day. i think that was their excuse.
