There are some channels that come in perfectly clear where others have static where I can barely see the picture. I know these are actual channels that are supposed to be clear but aren't.

I do have cable. I am sure that this is a channel that I am supposed to get. The one that really doesn't come in is fox which is part of the basic channels that almost everyone gets. But it has a ton of static.

I used to work for a cable company in the warehouse, but alot of the installers told me that most of the reason for interference is the cable between the wall and the tv. It could be alot of things though so its best to call your cable company.

It probably depends on where the channels are coming from. We live in a town where we get one channel from a city 20 miles away and another channel that comes from a city 30 miles away. The one that is 20 miles away comes in clearer than the one 30 miles away. If you are using cable or satellite, I'd call your cable or satellite company because there is probably something wrong with your connection.

Are you using rabbit ears or cable tv. If the answer is the former, than that is obviously the problem. If you have cable TV, it could be that your cable package doesn't offer that channel, however the frequency is close enough to some of the surrounding channels that it still picks up part of the transmissions.

It has to do with signal strength... weak signals are snowy, strong signals are clear. Simple. If you want them all clear, you have to get a stronger signal. There are all kinds of ways to do that depending on your signal source. Since you didn't state that, I hesitate to articulate for fear of deviating from the paths of righteousness.
