Yes I would. Every young American should experience the liveliness of a real-time war situation. Your country needs you, and the best thing you can do for it is serve within its military ranks. I would highly encourage you to sign up for the military when you come of age. There is no better personally fulfilling experience that you could ever have.

I'm too old, but I would go.
Too bad the press doesn't offer this solution. If the Iraqis want the coalition out of Iraq it would only take about a year an a half of peace. Here is the explanation: 1 year of peace the coalition would figure the government was in control. Then it would take about another 6 months for the troops to leave. If the majority still wanted a civil war the troops couldn't get back in a timely manner.
I'm not sure the terrorist have enough faith in their cause to allow the people to see they can create wealth for themselves with peace. Then again maybe they haven't advance since the end of the movie Lawrence of Arabia.

Nope....stupid war for stupid reasons. If i were to defend my own country and people fine but I'm not willing to die for a vendetta or to line someones pockets. I do support the troops but not the war. My nephew was over there and came back a different person with a whole different personality...not for the better. I think alot more people need to do a little research on this subject before making any rash decisions about joining the military right now. Just my opinion here :)

Not fight. There's nothing else to fight there, Iraqis are people, they can and will take care of their own population. I would go there to help.

I would. One of my nephews has been over there and come back and is going again. One of my brothers is over there right now, its his 4th trip and he expects it to be the worst. I'd like to be there with them.
