I had a miscarriage on 07-14. I had my first period after that on 8-18. I checked pg test around 5 weeks after that and it said negative. I am still without a period and it is 10-24! I have never had a missed period before I am very regular, I dont have insurance so I called my Drs office to see if they could give me advice if I am ok, or to worry but they dont seem like they know what they are talking about and I am really scared but cant afford to go to the dr, I also am wanting to try to get pregnant soon, but I cant if I dont have a period. Also my cervix isnt rising and falling, and I am having ALOT of cm. Any advice?

It's not that I cant afford a child its that I cant afford to keep going to the Dr's all the time and not getting any help, as I said it's helpless, and besides that, we arent all going to be well off, do you think that poor people should not have the joy of having children, just because they "cant afford it" besides there is IEHP in my area for children who need to see the Dr, but there isnt any help for adults. Please I need help from someone about my medical problem of not having a period, not advice about when to or not to have children!

The doctors office is going to take the same type of pregnancy test that we do over the counter. I am thinking your body just is still adjusting from the miscarriage. I had a miscarriage in May and did not have a period again until July (miscarriage required D&C). I don't know what to say about your cervix. Good luck and don't worry you will be blessed with a baby before you know it.

sorry precious lady but maybe if u cant really afford to see the dr then maybe u cant really afford to be a mum right now, no offence but babies are really expensive and what if u or your baby need medical help, most people wanna be a parent at some stage in their life but u need to be able to afford it.... and the bigger they grow, the more they cost... believe me ive had 2. good luck, but be certain its the right time financially.

If you can't afford a doctor, how will be you able to afford raising a child - what if that child gets sick. Just thinking about it makes me nervous.
