Sounds like she really likes you. If neither one of you can drive does either have an older sibling that you can ask to drive to see each other? if not, how about a parent? if not that how about the internet? You can always chat online with eachother if you both have internet. If not that even when resort to writing and calling. Believe me, the last two are the most romantic anyway.

If you have a family outing such as cooking out or going out somewhere you could ask your parents if they would mind if your friend was there! Ask her over for pie and icecream! You could watch a movie together at home! You can go for walks together! Pack a picnic and eat it in your yard or hers! Sit on the porch together! I am sure that you can find several enjoyable things to do together! YES ASK HER!

Ask her out if you like her. If it doesnt work out, it doesnt work out. But it NEVER hurts to try, trust me. Im a Freshman too, and in the past monthes i have realized even if you see someone for a half hour every wednesday during Homeroom, you can STILL make it work thanks to cell phones (or home phones), or email. You get that and you guys are immediatly communicated. And since you live fairly close, maybe you could take her out to a "fun" resteraunt after school to hang out and get milkshakes--ride your bike or walk. (well depends on weather where you are, have your parents take you maybe once) it would be fun, and girls are ALWAYS falling for guys who TRY all the time. This guy asked me out, and to ME, out of the blue, and even tho i turned him down, i started to like him...
Later REasking him back out cause i just started to notice him more. Ask her out, you have nothing to lose, GOOD LUCK! :)

well my cousin had a similar situation like this, if you guys cant really see each other then i dont really see the point of going out unless u really care about her that much to see her as frequently as u can, but long distance relationships dont really work out too good, u guys might be holding each other back from alot of stuff

you should go for it, if you think that she knows and she acted that way well then that means that she cares for you too. go for it and don't take too long because if you lose the moment you might lose a lot. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
