thats a fairly high percentage more then the regular drugstore stuff which is 3% i used to do that as well and eventually it started to burn through the enamel of my teeth,it is very caustic so be careful to never swallow any and to rinse with water after you use it (this takes away from the whitening effect, but it still allows it to work its anti-bacterial magic) most teeth whitener kits and whitening toothpastes have the peroxide as the main ingredient, but im telling you from experience it will destroy the enamel on your teeth

How about Crest White Strips sample? Have you tried it? I've been wearing it for 2 weeks now, and I'm already seeing results. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/crestwhitestrips.php so you could learn more about this teeth whitening product.

9% IS HIGH AND THIS IS NOT USUALLY FOUND IN TOOTHPASTES. AQUEOUS PEROXIDE FOUND IN STORES IS 3%. WHY DOES PERXIDE BUBBLE ON THE SKIN? BECAUSE IT'S A POISON TO THE BODY AND YOUR BODY HAS A SPECIAL ENZYME TO NEUTRALIZE IT KNOWN PEROXIDASE. DON'T USE ANYTHING WITH 9% PEROXIDE AS A TOOTHPASTE.

I haven't heard about it. But I use Crest White Strips sample. So far, there hasn't been any ill effect or what so ever. You should also consult your dentist. Or, visit this site http://www.upkb.com/crestwhitestrips.php for more info.
