In terms of history, Liverpool are the best team in Britain. They've won more Euro titles than any other, won more English titles than any other, and have some of the most passionate fans out there. As for Rangers and Celtic, they are the only 2 teams in Scotland, so it doesn't matter how many domestic titles they've won as they are the only ones who ever seem to contest them. And as for Europe, although Celtic became the first British team to win the European Cup, they haven't made much of an impact since and Rangers don't look like troubling anybody.

Liverpool are a cup team these days and will never come close to winning the league again. League titles are about consistency not raising your game for the odd match, Liverpool are nowhere near consistant enough to winning a league title again. A team that lives in the past.

Well said highburybooks!! team of the past mate with no chance of winning PL again this season, n as for u I think you'll find Rangers done as much damage as liverpool in the champs league last season only eventually going out to a better side.
and celtic just abolutely destroyed benfica last week. What was the score in the last 16..... cocky cnut!!!!!!

Liverpool is no-where near being the best British club at the moment.... Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, Bolton, Spurs,
Kilmarnock (?) are all better than Liverpool

you can't ignore facts liverpool have won more european trophys but apart from the last cup final against ac milan liverpool fc were saturated with scots one possible reason why celtic and rangers have won so few european cups

i remember we (celtic) put liverpool out of europe very easily in 2003 uefa cup and we went on to final and lost to cheating porto we also have the best fans in the world. FACT.
