I dated this guy, we had a great time everytime we saw one another. One night we had the BEST time and he told me how much he liked me and how great I was, but he couldn't give me the time I deserved. So we stopped dating, but then a yr later he told me he wanted to be with me and make things work. Then after dumping the guy I was with, The guy just vanished. We were suppose to go out for dinner, and he never called. Then again a few months later, he calls me, and comes by my house and we hung out and had a good time. I don't chase after him at all, I never call him or message him, he just gets infatuated with me at times ....
Theres something there, and I know he felt it too.
Is he just afraid of commitment? Or does he just like to know that he can get me ?
This has been going on for almost 3 yrs, what should I do ?
I can't be mean to him to bugger off, cause he's a president of a hobby that I do... Ya know "Don't burn your bridges"

The thing is also, I've asked him ,and he tells me straight up (so it seems) he really likes me, thinks I'm a great person with alot of heart, but he DOESN"T have time. But why does he keep coming around then? Is he just retarded ? Cause i'm starting to think that

Even if there is something there, it doesn't sound like it's strong enough to make him stick around for long. Just explain to him that you like him, and think things could work, but that you aren't going to just keep dropping your life for him, whenever he gets the fancy to see you. If he wants to make it work then do that, if not tell him you just want to be friends.

Actually, I have heard this before, but it was by someone who was mentioning that they had heard if before. We both knew it was just something someone made up out of stupidity! I have been training animals, specifically dogs for 25 years and I know better, and anyone who knows anything about dogs should know better...I would think anyway. Some people can come up with the craziest stuff! It makes me wonder though how many people who have heard this have actually tried it? Anyone that stupid shouldn't even own a dog, but unfortunately many do. Anyway, most urban legends I have heard have at least made some kind of sense, whereas this one doesn't at all, so I doubt it's even that. Take care, Lisa

i think that you should not hang out with him next time he calls or comes by tell him that you would perfer him to leave you alone it sounds to me as if he comes around when he wants to cause he knows that you will be there for him he knows he has you right where he wants you and that is not a good thing even if it is true next time you are with someone do not dump them that is a bad move on your part.

personally, i don't really know the guy...but from what you've said so far... he might be stringin' you along....you seem to have something for this guy...if i were you, i would simply just ask him straight up...if it doesn't work out, don't make it messy..maybe you'll have a friend by the end of the day

Every so often he gets horny and is using you for sex.....he doesn't like you, he likes your cooter when he can't get better cooter. I'm sorry if that hurts but it's the truth. Quit yanking on his 'chain' and he'll quit yanking on yours.
