My husband isn't quite the same way. But when I can't figure out what's for dinner and my brain's stumped, and so is his, we call "Fend For Yourself!" night. So we each make whatever we feel like. Be it a Hot Pocket or frozen pizza. We always have some junk food around when we don't feel like cooking which is about once a week. Works for us!

Head on over to foodnetwork.com or my favorite place, recipes.com. So much to choose from! For recipe ideas, punch in what you have in the fridge and wham! all the recipes you are ever going to need are at that website. Or, start asking for cook books for birthdays or Christmas, then you can pick and choose at your leisure. Myself? I would write out a week or month of "what I want for dinner" in advance. Save both of you the daily inquistion. Best of luck!

Lucky girl! Sit down and make a list of all the meals you like. Categorize them by main ingredient. Day 1, pick a chicken dish, day 2, pick a pasta, and so on... Have your answer ready when he asks. I agree, it's hard to come up w/something on the spot, and w/a little planning, you don't keep falling back on, uh, turkey burritos!

Here are a few good websites to find new ideas. If this doesn't help, try picking stuff thats really hard to make, he will get frustrated with all the work he has to put into what you pick and eventually start picking on his own. Good Luck

go online and find ideas - hey HES COOKING FOR YOU!!! revel in it and get his creative juices flowing. You can also look through cookbooks (the library has excellent ones) and find stuff you like. The world is your oyster, honey... let him do the work and you pick!
