He came here on a work Visa, it expired 2 years ago. We can't afford an expensive lawyer. Is there another way? We all love him he's a wonderful person. I am scared any day he'll be sent back.

I am presuming that "here" is the US.

There is no way for him to acquire citizenship directly. He must immigrate legally first, and be a legal resident for years.

If he is married to your daughter and she is a US citizen, she must petition for him. Here is how it is done:

Really the only thing you can do is seek an attorney....Since he is already married to your daughter, it is a bit complicated....Sorry couldn't be more help...
