as a Christian you arent supposed to be perfect
you are supposed to only do the best you can
no one is perfect
and the way to let go of past mistakes is to see the lesson you learned from them
then you will see that nothing is ever a mistake xx

Is there someone you need to ask for forgiveness, perhaps, or is it things that you did that you already asked forgiveness for that are coming back to haunt you? You're not suppossed to be perfect, only Jesus can be, we are to let Him live through us and when we screw up, we do our best to make it as right as possible, ask to be forgiven, and move on. Notice I didn't say to forgive yourself, I think that's a trap Christians fall into...NOWHERE in the Bible are we commanded to forgive ourselves....we are commanded to forgive OTHERS....learn from your wrong actions.....and stop dwelling on yourself! Go take your mind OFF yourself, do something for someone else, and keep DOING until you find you haven't once thought about your past actions at all today....it's a ploy of the enemy to keep you self centered, if you ask me!

Perhaps your Christianity, so far, is based on law rather than grace. Hebrews 6 speaks of going on unto perfection by leaving the principles(laws). Hebrews 9 and 10 begin talking about how neither laws nor better sacrifices can purge the consicence of sin; especially if law itself is imperfect and sacrifice is of the law.

Plainly speaking, your probelm is legalism.
Solution: if the law is imperfect, flush it all.

We're to try(test drive) two Spirits(Gods):
Law: was insufficient, so test drive Grace.
Grace: is sufficient, purges the conscience.

Conclusion of Hebrews: Grace with you all. Amen.

No one is perfect everyone make mistakes even Christians. Just learn from them so they can help u in the future not to make them again and to help other people not make similar mistakes. Maybe u could also talk to someone like family, friends, councilor or someone at ur church etc.

As a Christian, you cannot be perfect.
If you have confessed it to Jesus, then you are forgiven.
I think you are having touble and are angry that you cannot live up to your own expectations.
Are you greater than God?
Deal with the pride issue and move forward in Jesus.

He knew you were going to blow it.
He died on the cross for that one too.

There are sometimes consequences to sin but I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. You'll never be perfect in this life.
Take responsibility for yourself and ask God to help you be the man you should be.

Just a thought.

If you are a born again Christian, it is the demon digging up your past life and trying to get you to return to it. He will tell you you are not saved. He will try every nasty trick in the book to trick you. Pay him no mind. You have the power through God to tell Satan to get behind you and leave you alone. He still bothers me, even in church, at times.
