In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Now I'm offended. If someone wants to worship me I see abolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact I think it's kinda cool.
Hey, I'm not a bad guy at all. The stories about the pitchfork and the fire and brimestone are a lot of bull, and I'm not going to stand you on your head in a pile of poo. I just want you to enjoy life not go out and steal or murder. The religions of the world paint a very bad picture of me. All sins are my fault, you know, blame it on the devil. Now the true evil comes from the actions of man. The people that lie, cheat, steal, rape, and kill. In other words Politicians . So, people give a poor old satan a break and blame your problems on those that are deserving.

Who says its wrong ! Satan and also God are just two fictional characters within the christian religion. That being said all satanists are christian and and all christians are satanists 'cause they acknowledge a satan. So again why is worshipping satan wrong? Christianity is based on evil and delusions anyhow so what is the problem here.

Um... Satan is evil.

Satan wants to kill you, steal from you, and destroy you and take your soul.

he hates you...

But he lies, he is the father of all lies... he tempts you to sin using the world your mind and body

he wants you to follw after your disires and forget the needs of others.

So you tell me what is wrong with worshiping him?

Hmm...

Don't you know that he wants to torment your soul in hell forever?

And don't you know that he laughs becasue he knows that the only reason you could go to hell is by your choice. He loves it when you automatically choose him... that means you reject Christ... the only way to God.

God is love...

Satan is hate...

Satan is the kind of being that tempts men to follow him and or do evil..

example- the Amish shooter... that is just not normal... not even for brain disorders. he must have been possessed to do such an evil thing.

So If you have wisdom... don't worship Satan.

THe promiser of power, money, joy...

Remember he is a lier... in the end you choose hell if you don't choose Christ and God...

Satan manipulates people who aren't strong enough to deny him. He turns you against God, and manipulates you to worship him as the #1 spirit in your life, working you like a puppet to do his work on Earth. Satan is a deceiver. "Devil" is a term used to express something or someone BAD for a reason..

Because if you believe in Satan, you also must believe in God and have chosen to worship the evil instead of the good.

Because Satan is a creature and you are not to worship the creation, but the CREATOR, which is God. Besides, Satan is your mortal enemy and his whole objective is to kill, steal and destroy. Why worship a jerk like that?
People who worship the creation rather than the CREATOR exchange the truth for a lie
