Blind people can be driven to an ATM.
The Americans With Disabilities Act requires these machines have hearing and vision assistance devices. They also must be a certain height off the ground and have ramps if needed for wheelchair users.

They may not drive but they can catch a bus.
Although if i was blind i'd do all my banking by phone, I think somehow this would be easier dont ya think?

Plus the companies who make/manufacture ATM machines would probably have to go to more effort to have them without the brail on the keys etc. Its easier to produce bulk products with brail then to produce some with, and some without :)

Um...blind people can walk up to an ATM machine...and someone could also drive them to an ATM machine. That is why there is brail on an ATM machine, so everyone can access their money no matter their disability.

1.) The joke is 'why do DRIVE UP ATM's have Braille?'

2.) The answer to either is so blind people can use them- even if a friend drives them to the machine.

Well blind people still have money and the need to get the money out of the bank and go spend it. They have someone drive them, but you know what, I think I saw a blind person driving the other day, they were all over the road, either that or they were drunk. your guess is good as mine.
