No one is germany is crazy about hasselhoff. Everybody laughs about him .There was a time, end 80s, when he was very popular, that was the time of "knight rider". But nowadays most people in Germany think he's embarrassing, especially his new try to have a comeback as a singer.

Was he ever popular? I vaguely remember him in Baywatch when I was VERY young. Nightrider? No idea what that show's about.
