Oh sure. I do it all the time. Just pull them out an hour or so before, make sure you thaw them out in a bowl because they will "bleed". They are very easy to mash, practically mash themselves.

Yes, that works great for banana bread. Something I've learned from experience - peel the bananas first. It is very difficult to peel frozen mushy bananas. Peel them then put them is plastic wrap or a baggie.

Yeah you can freeze them. Just know that when you defrost them they'll be really mushy, but if you're going to make banana bread it'll be fine.
Just peel them and put them into a zip-lock bag. They wont last too long (maybe a few days tops) before they get too brown.

bananas freeze fine, it's a great popsicle alternative too. cut them in half, put a stick in each half, freeze til hard. also good dipped in chocolate, w/or w/out nuts. they don't thaw well, but if it's just for bread, you should be fine, cause you're going to mush them up anyway. peel them, wrap them in wax paper, throw them in the freezer, preferably on a flat surface. let them freeze, throw them in a bag, you should be good for a while.

Yes you can; they are actually quite good. In addition if you like chocolate then you can melt chocolate chips in a pan over medium heat and either eat them when they are hot (let them cool off a little so you don't burn your tongue) or freeze them on wax paper (or wrap them in ceran wrap); with the chocolate on them.
