I'm having a hard time lately. When they cause so much suffering with their stances on stem cell research and equal rights for same-sex couples I have anger. I've seen so much psychological pain wrought with their horrible and warped sick rantings about hell and judgement. The deluded use of god and judgement as a projected mechanism for attack knows no bounds. And the infantile, ego-based morality and spirituality that is based on the selfish mechanism of reward and punishment is mind-boggling; they can't even fathom morality or spirituality without a system based on reward and punishment! I'm ranting because I'm tired of these minds that are brick walls.

Forgiveness. It is the best way to deal with those whom you disagree. We all can't be of the same faith or denomination nor do we all think alike. For forgiveness to work, it has to come from the heart.

Although I cannot quote the chapter and verse, I believe it was Timothy who said "Love one another as you would love yourself and by this love I shall recognize you". This goes for all the people of the world not just Christians or those who believe as you do. We are all children of God.

There are many paths to the mountain top. God does not care which one you take, as long as you take one.

If you look at all the world's great religions, you will find that they are based on, "Do unto others as you would have others do to you." Everything else is all theory.

Last week I entered a question in which I had completely lost my temper and just couldn't take it anymore. I felt bad when I got called on it because I was doing exactly what I was ranting about, attacking the fundamentalists in a hateful way.

Some days, are harder than others. There are some people that I will go to their question just so I can emphasize my point of view to them, again, and again.

The abortion issue and gay marriage are two big deals with me I will fight for those as long as there is breath in me. I get that feeling from you too. We can just be louder than they are. We can come and stay longer. We can hope that we can make a difference.

Thanks.

The Bible does not teach NO Judgement, it teach rightous judgement of actions and deeds. You will know a Christina by their fruits

Mat 7:13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

What are these fruits ?

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

When they get off their high horse and keep their noses out of government and other peoples lives, and stop scape goading the LGBT community for every thing that's wrong with the world. And their leaders stop calling for the extermination of gays, then I'll respect them.

Obviously the act of forgiveness has passed you by and you comprehend nothing of it. You are to forgive and pray for all who have sinned, there is no distinguishing between sins with God, one sinner is not better than another and all need redemption.

So we must love everyone, even our enemies as we do ourselves this is the true meaning of the commandment of love.

The self righteous are no better than the murderers.

Because of JUST "stem cell research"? You pathetic cowardly person. How about the whole of Islam, which is fundamentalist in the mainstream and threatens EVERYTHING, not just one aspect of medical research.

I tell you this, as someone who OTHERWISE AGREES WITH YOU AS TO THE ISSUE OF STEM-CELLS, your pathetic cowardice, almost certainly from the left, is without eny doubt a much bigger threat than anything the Christian fundamentalist do or say. Of this, I am absolutely certain. Put that pathetic defeatist pc head alllll the way through the wall next time.

I suggest reading Jimmy Carter's book from earlier this year on the subject. He's very open about his fundamentalism, and yet intelligent and patriotic. It'll make you really think about this.
